Young People in Recovery is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe the same principle that guides our missionāthat everyone deserves support and belongingāshould guide the way we build online.
Our Commitment
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological differences.
Measures We Take
- Semantic, keyboard-navigable page structure;
- Text alternatives for meaningful images;
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements;
- Respect for the “reduce motion” setting on animations; and
- Clear, consistent navigation and labeling.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are continually working to improve the experience for all visitors. Some content may not yet fully meet our target standard, and we welcome your feedback.
