Earth Day Clean Up, YPR-Arapahoe County, CO

April 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm MDT

An Earth Day cleanup is a powerful community engagement activity that brings people together to restore and protect the environment while fostering a sense of unity and purpose. For individuals in recovery, participating in such events can be deeply meaningful, as it aligns with themes of renewal, care, and giving back. Engaging in environmental stewardship helps build connections, self-worth, and a positive sense of identity, reinforcing recovery principles like service and mindfulness. By contributing to a cleaner, healthier community, participants not only improve their surroundings but also strengthen their recovery journey and commitment to personal and communal growth.

This engagement will be followed by a fun pro social event where we play small board games at a local coffee shop called Convict Coffee. Please meet us at Nine Mile to get the address of the coffee shop.
