You’re invited to an insightful educational event about substance use disorder and how we can protect our community members. We are all aware of the increasing opioid crisis in the country and we are seeing more of a presence in La Plata County. In addition, it is becoming more common that fentanyl is being added to opioid and even non opioid substances. Join us to learn how to access and administer the FDA approved life saving medication, Naloxone. Narcan & drug disposal kits will be available free of charge after event, as well as local recovery resources.
