Guest Speaker – Sheri Blosser Bio:
“I have been in recovery for 11 years. For 10 of those years have owned and operated sober living homes in the Denver metro area. I am a certified peer recovery coach and a sponsor to other women in the community. I thrive daily to serve the community and those who are seeking recovery. My purpose today is to pay forward, to the next [person in or seeking recovery], what was so graciously given to me”

Description of experience– “My name is Sheri and I am definitely an “alcoholic” and “addict”. After doing 30 days of treatment I went into sober living where I started to work a 12 step recovery program and transform my thinking and way of life. To this day I still work a 12 step recovery program, because I know I can be just as sick without substances, and would never want to jeopardize the life I am creating. It’s my passion to help those still suffering, so I serve the community in any way I can. never suffered from any trauma or mental health, however I had severe anxiety due to my addiction. Was never homeless, hospitalized or in jail, however I was completely broken and hopeless. A prisoner of my own mind and body, with no resources or support left to dig myself out. Spiraling more and more as days went on I knew it was time to completely surrender or end the meaningless life I was living. Thank You God for recovery, this community, the relationships I have today and using me to help the next suffering. Today i am a strong confident woman with 11 years of continuous sobriety.”
