Mother’s Day May 14 through Father’s Day June 18

Join us to Support Young People and Families Impacted by Addiction and Overdose

From Mother’s Day through Father’s Day, Young People in Recovery (YPR) is rallying parents across America to address the substance use epidemic that devastates families and communities. Drugs and alcohol disproportionately affect youth and young adults: drug overdoses are now the number-one cause of accidental death in the U.S., with more than six in 10 deaths of young adults involving an opioid.

That is why we are launching Turning Pain to Purpose, a national effort to raise $25,000 to support families affected by the substance use epidemic.

Please help us TODAY by making a generous charitable contribution of $50, $100, $250, or more to support local programs in 19 states

Life Skills

$10 underwrites the cost of one young person attending one section of a YPR life-skills curriculum program so they can learn how to write a resume, go back to school, or find housing.

$25 supports community-based events like softball or bowling so that youth and young adults can have fun and find friends who support their recovery from drugs and alcohol.

Education Campaign

$50 allows one YPR chapter leader to create an education campaign in their community to advocate for more resources to support recovery.

Harm Reduction

$100 purchases harm reduction supplies such as Narcan and fentanyl test strips so YPR members can save lives.

Recovery Meetings

$100 purchases harm reduction supplies such as Narcan and fentanyl test strips for YPR chapters to distribute in order to save lives.

Social Media

$500 creates new social media messaging and outreach to help families find access to recovery resources so they can find help

Education Campaign

$1,000 promotes advocacy on the local, state, and federal levels for more resources to support young people in recovery nationwide
